You can watch Australia Network using your own satellite dish and digital decoder. Australia Network is broadcast free on both the IS-8 and IS-5 satellites.   Australia Network has agreements with many cable TV providers around the region, who rebroadcast the channel. In most cases you will not need any additional equipment and your local cable TV provider will install the cable directly into your home. Contact your nearest provider for details.   Some local rebroadcasters offer Australia Network via satellite rather than cable to your home. If you subscribe to this type of service your subscription fee should include rental of the satellite equipment.   Many apartment blocks have a communal distribution system for satellite and terrestrial TV and radio signals. These will have been installed for shared use.
