Build your vocabulary on a range of topics.
Remember that your topic vocabulary should include word forms (adjective, noun, verb and adverb), related vocabulary (synonyms, opposites) and collocations (adjective + noun or verb + adverb).
Try to learn some idiomatic expressions as well.
