COW IDIOMS (Today's video has no words, but since it features cows, we thought you might be interested in these expressions.) To have a cow is slang for getting angry. Mum will have a cow when she finds out. Until the cows come home means for ever, or for a very long time. If you try to catch a bus after midnight, you'll be waiting until the cows come home. A sacred cow is a disapproving term for something that is always respected and never criticised.
