Adelaide born, Vietnamese singer Thanh Bui, 25, has toured Malaysia with boy band "North", run a talent school and more recently been a contestant on Australian Idol. Thanh's family fled from Vietnam in the 1980s. This is his story about growing up in Australia.

His simple, heartfelt music has also taken him on successful tours to the UK (supported by Oxfam), Japan, India, Brazil, New Zealand and Australia.
