Two Australians face heroin charges in Vietnam 26/11/2008

Two Australian men have been charged with attempting to import heroin from Vietnam.

The Customs Service says the while the men arrived from Vietnam on the same day, the two incidents are unrelated.

The amount of the drug seized is said to total more three kilograms, with a potential street value of more than $US600,000 dollars.

Both of the men have been remanded in custody by a Sydney court.

If found guilty, they face up to 25 years in jail.
