09:57:58

Palau President Tommy Remengesau has confirmed he will run as a candidate for the Senate in the November general election.

The Pacific Magazine reports President Remengesau had repeatedly said he was undecided on whether he would withdraw his petition for candidacy or actually run.

Mr Remengesau ends his constitutionally limited two terms as president at the end of this year.
