Australia fancied by half of young New Zealanders 08/05/2008
04:55:48

New research has revealed half of New Zealanders in the 15-30 age bracket, would consider moving to Australia.

A poll by Research New Zealand says many are attracted by Australia's job market, standard of living and warm climate.

But the poll found a steep decline in the desire to relocate in New Zealanders over 40.

Researcher Emanuel Kalafatelis says while many New Zealanders consider moving to Australia, the number who actually do is much lower.
