05/08/2008 21:30:15 Thai murder prompts withdrawal of computer game

Thai authorities have banned a violent computer game.

It came after a teenager allegedly killed a taxi driver in a copycat crime.

Police say they'll immediately arrest shopkeepers if they find any copies of the Grand Theft Auto game on sale

An 18-year-old was arrested on Sunday after police found the body of a 50-year-old Bangkok taxi driver in his cab.

Police say the teenager became incensed when he couldn't afford to play the game, which encourages gamers to kill and steal cars to win points.
