Lester, a student from Hong Kong, stays with a large Australian family whose life revolves around Australian Rules Football. While he gets to know them, he also finds out how to play the game and what is involved in belonging to a local Aussie Rules club.
Lester learns to kick a footy, goes out to training, and gets involved in the game as an umpire and scorekeeper.
Along the way he tries a typical Australian meal, and hangs out with the kids, joining in their activities around the house. And finally, Lester gets his own guernsey!
