Australian marine expert Ben Cropp captures unique footage of crocodiles feeding on Flatback turtle babies in the pitch black of night on Crab Island, just off the northern tip of Australia. He and his son Dean get perilously close to the crocs who are waiting in silence for their dinner to scramble past. Using the latest in infra-red technology they capture this aggressive behaviour in never before seen detail. Ben also investigates a mixture of other species on and around Crab Island. He uses pole cameras to go underwater with dangerous predators such as Tiger sharks and Bull rays and swims amongst the coral to film scenes of beautiful serenity. The documentary includes footage of a tiger shark attempting to get back to water after chasing a tern chick onto the shore and Dean Cropp stroking a huge Grouper. Ben also follows hunters as they capture and cook the indigenous mud crab, observing how the creatures behave in their natural habitat.
