This series is made by and for Generation Y (young people born roughly between the late 1970's to the late 1980's) in Australia. Influenced by music videos, technology and their 'Baby Boomer' parents, this series is a dynamic social snapshot. The first episode investigates Gen Y's involvement in organised religion. The second episode asks 'If fifty is the new forty, what is twenty-one?' by attending three different 21st birthday celebrations. The next episode looks at being Gen Y and ethnic in Australia through a hip-hop comedy group F.O.B. - immigrant slang for 'fresh off the boat' - Melbournians. Then finally in the last episode we'll look at the Gen Y life online with avatars, profiles and connections that cut through space and time.
