Ernie Dingo tries to harness a ride in the snow

Feel like you need to cool down? Then join Ernie on a trip to one of the coolest parts of the world - in more ways than one.

Ernie has rugged up for a visit to Sweden, or more specifically the part of Sweden that is also known as Lapland, which has more reindeer than people.

There are even 400 words for reindeer in the language of the Sami - the original peoples of Scandinavia.

Ernie does his best to get to know at least one of the four-legged locals and tries to rein him in for the sled ride of a lifetime across the permanently frozen tundra.

He has similar success with drilling for fish in the frozen lake.

But the reindeer are in complete harmony with their environment with coats designed to keep out any chills, even when the temperature plunges to 25 degrees below zero.

While the chill factor might be breath taking so too is the scenery. It's hard to imagine that anything other than a visit to the icy paradise would do it justice.
