Philippine Supreme Court blocks birth control reform
A new law to give poorer women access to birth control in Philippines has hit a hurdle.

Last year, the Philippines passed a law to give poorer women access to birth control measures.

But the controversial law has hit a hurdle, with petitions questioning whether the law is in line with the constitution.

The Supreme Court has now temporarily suspended its implementation.
