Hobbies are things you do just for fun. We asked some students about their hobbies to demonstrate how we talk about these things. SAM: I love music. I love to play the guitar and I play soccer and I just generally love to be around my friends and just have a good time. JASMINE: Ah my hobbies well, first of all I sing for the choir, for the university choir which is a really good thing to do, like relaxation and all that stuff and I play badminton as well, down at Lockleys so it's good. JUSTIN: I like to surf and rock climb. SUSAN: I coach netball and I umpire netball. How often do they do their different hobbies? JASMINE: Twice a week. Yeah it's cool JUSTIN: Probably once a fortnight and in all the holidays. And rock climbing? How often do you do that? JUSTIN: Probably once a fortnight. SUSAN: Every week. Sometimes twice. |
